Biden Administration Plans for Opioid Epidemic
Joe Biden has taken office amidst more instability than perhaps any president in recent history. He must move quickly to address the public health emergency of the COVID-19 pandemic and the accompanying economic fallout. He must also address other situations like the broken immigration system and growing domestic terrorism threats. Even amidst all these issues, his administration cannot avoid its responsibility to deal with a crisis that’s been growing for decades and is now skyrocketing: the overdose epidemic.
