Workit closes Series A funding with Blue Cross Blue Shield Venture Partners.

Workit engages in a first payor contract with Aetna, increasing our ability to reach those in need of addiction care. We publish a white paper showing an impressive 74% retention rate at 3 months. While we celebrate these milestones, we also keep growing, launching a clinic in New Jersey.

Workit Health receives BCorp status, joining a network of 2,300+ companies dedicated to using business as a force for good. With these principles guiding our growth, we also expand our Michigan clinic to Ann Arbor.

Workit Health receives accreditation from the Joint Commission.

Workit closes our bridge round of funding and launches direct-to-consumer addiction treatment services.

suboxone risk & concerns

Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) is indicated for the treatment of opioid dependence in adults. Suboxone should not be taken by individuals who have been shown to be hypersensitive to buprenorphine or naloxone as serious adverse reactions, including anaphylactic shock, have been reported. Taking Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) with other opioid medicines, benzodiazepines, alcohol, or other central nervous system depressants can cause breathing problems that can lead to coma and death. Other side effects may include headaches, nausea, vomiting, constipation, insomnia, pain, increased sweating, sleepiness, dizziness, coordination problems, physical dependence or abuse, and liver problems.
